Acellent offers lightweight, compact data-acquisition hardware. Our onboard and offboard systems can operate in passive mode, active mode, or a combined passive-active mode. Acellent can also work with clients to develop custom hardware that meets their specific needs.
The Passive-Active SHM hardware is our newest system, integrating both "passive" impact detection and "active" damage scanning in a single, compact package. It supports up to 32 sensors, and is specifically designed for onboard applications.
ScanGenie Mini is our lightest weight system for "active" damage detection of both metals and composites. It supports up to 32 sensors and can operate in either pitch-catch or pulse-echo mode. ScanGenie Mini can also be customized to operate as an onboard system.
ScanGenie III is our flagship system for "active" damage detection of both metals and composites. It is widely used for large area and hot spot monitoring, and can operate in either pitch-catch or pulse-echo mode. ScanGenie III is available in both 64- and 128-channel configurations.
ScanGenie III Industrial is a custom version of our ScanGenie III, engineered specifically for onboard applications. This system is ruggedized for extreme environments and designed for maximum reliability. It supports up to 128 sensors and can operate in either pitch-catch or pulse-echo mode.
Acellent SHM Pro Software Suite works in tandem with our SMART Layer® sensor network and data acquisition hardware to detect and characterize structural anomalies in metals and composites due to the presence of cracks, corrosion, debonds, and delaminations.
