Acellent CEO wins Lifetime Achievement award
Acellent's CEO, Irene J. Li, was announced as a finalist for the "Lifetime Achievement - Business" category of the 2024 Stevie® Awards, the world's premier business awards competition.
The finalists in each category were selected by the judging committees, consisting of more than 200 professionals worldwide. The gold, silver, and bronze winners from among the finalists in each category will be announced during a gala awards banquet on Friday, November 8th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and garner public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. The Stevie has quickly become one of the world's most coveted prizes.
Acellent previously won the Achievement in Technology Innovation award in the 2023 Stevies competition, alongside Qualcomm Incorporated.

Acellent representatives promote technological innovation in healthcare
Representatives from Acellent Technologies recently visited and toured El Camino Health and Fogarty Innovation, a non-profit medical innovation incubator.
The delegation from Acellent included our CEO, Ms. Irene Li, and Mr. Grant Chang. They were joined by the CEO of the Chuming Foundation. See a group photo here.
During the visit, Acellent's CEO advocated for continued technological innovation, global partnerships for healthcare, and community outreach with increased youth engagement.

Acellent selected as a finalist for 2024 Company of the Year
Acellent Technologies was just announced as one of three finalists in the Company of the Year category for the 2024 Best of Sensors Awards.
The awards program is presented by Sensors Converge (formerly known as Sensors Expo & Conference) and Fierce Electronics; it honors the best-of-the-best in sensor technologies and the broader sensing ecosystem, including both people and companies.
Microchip Technology and Torc Robotics are the other two finalists for Company of the Year, alongside Acellent. Entrants were judged based on their value to the marketplace, the impact of the problems solved or issues addressed, and the uniqueness of their designs. Charlene Soucy, Senior Director, Technology – Sensors & Electronics, remarked that "the judges were extremely impressed with the innovative products, technologies, teams, and people submitted" for the Class of 2024. The final award winners will be announced at an upcoming, in-person event on Tuesday, June 25th at Sensors Converge in Santa Clara. We hope you can join us there!

Acellent CEO honored by Women of Influence 2024 award
Each year, the Silicon Valley Business Journal (SVBJ) honors and celebrates the 100 most influential women across the public, private, and non-profit sectors in Silicon Valley. This prestigious award is designed to spotlight extraordinary women who have demonstrated influence and impact in their respective industries and communities.
This year, Acellent's CEO, Irene J. Li, was selected as one of the honorees for the Women of Influence 2024 award. This is a well-deserved recognition. Acellent is proud of our commitment to advance women in leadership roles.
Irene will be formally recognized at the Silicon Valley Business Journal's in-person event on June 27th at the Santa Clara Marriott. A profile of her will also appear in the special Women of Influence awards edition of the Silicon Valley Business Journal published on June 28th.

Acellent supplying SHM systems for Korean fighter jet, KF-21
After several years of close collaboration with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Acellent is excited to announce that it has been formally contracted as the official supplier of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) systems for KAI's KF-21 aircraft. The KF-21 (formerly known as KF-X) is a 4.5-generation, multirole fighter jet, being developed primarily for the South Korean and Indonesian air forces.
Acellent will be supplying complete SHM systems to KAI and their customers (including the Republic of Korea Air Force) for the initial production run of these aircraft. Our industry-leading SHM systems will be used to monitor loads and detect any damage occurring in the composite structures of the KF-21.
The first complete prototype of the KF-21 Boramae was successfully flight-tested in July of 2022. Multiple prototypes have been undergoing thousands of flight tests since then. The mass-production process began early in 2024, with 40 aircraft to be built. Deliveries are scheduled for 2025–26.

Acellent selected as Company of the Year for "Technology"
On September 18, 2023, Acellent was announced as a Gold Globee Winner® for the Company of the Year (in the "Technology" category) during the 11th annual 2023 Globee Awards.
The "Technology" category covers all technology companies in the world, spanning sectors from AI and big data to automation, security, IT, and manufacturing. We are extremely honored to receive this award in recognition of our technical achievements and leadership.
The Globee Awards are the international counterpart of the American Business Awards and Stevie Awards (where we took home a bronze award earlier this year).

IWSHM 2023
From September 12–14, 2023, Acellent Technologies attended the International Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring, hosted at Stanford University.
At the workshop, our engineers presented six technical papers at special sessions highlighting our latest research and development projects. You can download a copy of the full proceedings online, including Acellent's submissions as well as those from other companies and universities who are at the cusp of innovation.
We also hosted a booth, where we showcased our latest products. We even had a collaborative booth with Airbus Defence and Space to demonstrate Acellent's distributed onboard SHM system for autonomous aircraft.
The highlight of the conference was "SHM In Action", where Acellent (along with other key players in the field) gave a live demonstration of a specific SHM solution. Acellent demonstrated our rotorcraft monitoring system, already being used by the Norwegian Armed Forces to monitor an aging fleet of helicopters. Acellent recognized by the California Legislature
On July 1, 2023, Acellent was recognized by Senator Dave Cortese and the California State Senate for our leadership and contributions to Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). Later, on July 28, 2023, Acellent was honored by Assemblymember Evan Low and the California State Assembly in recognition of our service to District 26 (representing Silicon Valley). We were noted specifically for our ongoing commitments to the community, our "mission to be on the cutting edge of innovation in Silicon Valley", and our "dedication to sustainability through [our] technology and products". Acellent named as finalist for Best of Sensors 2023 Award
For over two decades, the Best of Sensors Awards has honored the best innovations in sensor technologies along with the leading people and companies within the sensor ecosystem. Acellent Technologies was named as one of the finalists for the Best of Sensors 2023 Award.
The winners will be announced at the Best of Sensors Awards Ceremony on June 21, 2023, which is part of the Sensors Converge show from June 20–22, 2023, in Santa Clara, CA.
Acellent was previously named as a finalist in the Application Awards category for the Best of Sensors 2018.

Acellent selected as Stevie Winner for Achievement in Technology Innovation
Acellent was named as a Stevie Winner in the 21st Annual American Business Awards, which is the premier business awards program in the United States, covering all organizations—public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Acellent was honored as a bronze Stevie Winner in the Achievement in Technology Innovation category for its IIoT 4.0 SHM system solution, along with other industry innovation leaders, such as Qualcomm. The Achievement in Technology Innovation category is new for the year 2023, designed to recognize the development and practical implementation of new, breakthrough technologies.
The winners were determined by the average scores of more than 240 professionals worldwide during a three-month judging process.
Acellent will be honored, along with the other winners, during an awards banquet at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Our very own Irene J. Li, President and CEO of Acellent Technologies, was recognized by California Governor Gavin Newsom, on behalf of the entire state of California, for her "dedication and leadership in service for the Asian Pacific Islander American community", as well as for her "integrity and experience in management and technology".

Acellent CEO recognized by Congresswoman Ro Khanna
On February, 22, 2023, Acellent's CEO, Irene J. Li, was presented with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by Congressman Ro Khanna, who represents the state of California's 17th congressional district (which includes Silicon Valley) in the US House of Representatives.
Congressman Khanna specifically cited Irene's "outstanding leadership, dedicated promotion of Silicon Valley's innovation, and exemplary community service roles in a variety of organizations and universities."

The SEAL Sustainable Product Award specifically "honors innovative and impactful products that are literally 'purpose-built' for a sustainable future".
Acellent was among the winners of the 2022 Sustainable Product Award, recognized for its IIoT 4.0 SHM RAPID System for Oil and Gas Pipelines.
