 The SmartComposite software is for detection of impact-induced damage or delamination/debonding in large composite structures.    The software runs in Windows 2000 or XP Pro PC  and has the following features:

ACESS™ Basic and 2.0

Data Management Software

The Acellent Software Suite (ACESS™) is another software solution for interfacing with SMART Layers®. Developed for use on the SMART Suitcase™, either ScanGenie or SCS-4300 high speed system.

Acellent provides two versions of the ACESS™ software.

 ACESS-Basic provides:

A feature-filled interface for creating and displaying sensor layouts
Menu-driven windows for signal generation and data acquisition
Built-in utilities for signal processing and data visualization
Easy-to use data management tools
Plug-in application modules

ACESS 2.0 includes all the features of ACESS-Basic along with the following:

Diagnostic imaging module for real-time visualization of structural changes

ACESS™ comes with a variety of data acquisition and user-friendly display functions to simplify the structural monitoring process.

With the push of a button, the software can instruct the SMART Suitcase™ to interrogate the structure (using the SMART Layer®), collect the diagnostic data and then display the data in real time.

The software can also be used to fix the location of sensors and actuators and design the corresponding SMART Layers® based on these locations.

Multiple diagnostic wave types can be generated using the software including 3-peak, 5-peak and 10-peak narrow band frequency waveforms as well as chirp, random and user defined wave types.
